100 Miles! - Sue's Team in Training for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

My inspiration to become a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Team in Training" comes from my brother who died of leukemia 22 years ago.

He enjoyed the mountains and being outdoors - hunting and fishing in the Catskill Mountains of New York were his favorite hobbies.

As a TNT volunteer, I will be raising money in his memory as I train for the 100-mile bike ride June 3rd, 2001, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. My ride through the mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe will be a fitting tribute to my brother and the outdoors he loved.

I will always remember Robert as a strong little boy, even during the roughest days of chemotherapy. I know that as hard as it might be for me to train for a 100-mile bike ride... a day enduring a new chemotherapy treatment would be much worse. With the money I raise, the research can continue to help the millions of others who fight this battle every day.

So, please support me in my goal to raise funds, and train alongside thousands of other "Team in Training" volunteers.

Thank you !
